Roadside assistance, it's for used vehicles too
September 22 2019,
Regardless of the manufacturer of the vehicle you drive, it offers roadside assistance provided the original warranty is still in effect or you have purchased an extended warranty. The extended warranty also often comes standard with certified pre-owned vehicles. In other words, even if you drive a used car, you can get access to a roadside assistance service.
The roadside assistance service can help you if you are involved in a collision, if you have a flat tire, or if you run out of fuel, for example. If you need help, the following numbers may help you. If your vehicle is from another brand, the phone number will usually be written in the driver's manual or online.
Chevrolet Roadside Assistance: 1-800-268-6800
Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge and Ram Roadside Assistance: 1-800-363-4869
Volkswagen Roadside Assistance: 1-800-411-6688
When calling the roadside assistance service, make sure you have the following information in hand:
- Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)
- Where exactly you are (street and cross street if possible)
Here are the important points to remember about roadside assistance
